How my journey began

 

I have been involved in sports and fitness from a young age and have been a member of a gym for as long as I can remember. After having my daughter I got a trainer myself and even started to compete in bikini competitions.

Exercise not only changed my body but also my confidence. I decided I wanted to help others feel better and be a more confident, healthier, stronger version of themselves.

I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals and live a healthier lifestyle. With the right exercise and nutrition plan, hard work and dedication anything is possible and I will be there to motivate and support you every step of the way.

Jo is a brilliant PT, she listens to what your goals are and helps you achieve them! She encourages you to have a healthy lifestyle and to not cut anything out... you just have to prioritise! When I started I had no idea of how many macros I should be having and Jo worked them out for me, she also recommended good prod- ucts that would help me on my journey. Since starting training with Jo I have gained so much confidence and I can see my body changing (what’s even better is that other people are noticing!!) Jo is always there to support you in everything and helps you stay focused on your end goal. I look forward to every workout as it is so varied and I love a challenge! I had a personal training session with Jo on 30th May 2019 and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. Jo approached me in a confident and friendly manner, at no point did I feel pressurised to agree to a session. She made herself available at numerous times, to suit me, and asked what I wanted to achieve. It was clear during the session she had thought through my aims. I was shown a range of exercises and machines that would allow for a full body strength workout. I was also given full guidance on how to mix and match the activities and incorporate them into my existing regime. Jo was very encouraging, without being in the slightest overbearing (something which has always put me off using other personal trainers). She focused on correct form, giving feedback in a constructive manner. She clearly ‘knows her stuff’ as she was able to explain the purpose and benefit of everything she showed me. If you want a positive, constructive P.T. experience that will leave you feeling empowered and more confident in the gym, then Jo is the lady for you!
